Biographical Sketch

William David Finger, gifted Bible preacher, teacher, and prophet, was baptized in Jesus' Name and filled with the Holy Ghost on April 7, 1968 at Clinton Street Greater Bethlehem Temple Church in Detroit, Michigan under the pastorage of the late Bis. David L. Collins.

Called of God to preach the Good News of the Kingdom in 1977, William has inspired thousands to give their lives to the Lord and draw nearer to God. He has helped to establish churches and has evangelized throughout the United States from storefronts to cathedrals. Driven by a great compassion for the lost and dying, William is often found conducting tent and open-air services on the streets of Washington, DC and throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Since 1973, William has been happily married to Sis. ElaineAllen Finger, whom he met at Clinton Street Greater Bethlehem Temple Church. God has blessed one son to be born to this union, Minister Jonathan David Finger. Jonathan is very active in Youth Ministries in the DC, Maryland and Delaware areas and has been blessed to be married to Sis. Jessica Hayes Finger since 2002.

William is pleased to report that God has been gracious and faithful by granting salvation to The Finger family and like Joshua, he and his house serves the Lord!
